- 1955  A Forest Reserve differs from a National Park slightly, although the job of a Forest Ranger is almost identical with that of a Park Warden. The great National Parks are administered by the Federal Government of Canada, and have been set aside as such for all time. The Forest Reserves, which often adjoin the Parks, allow, where conditions are suitable, the grazing of cattle and the cutting of timber.
